What is Vestigatio? Vestigatio means Search in Latin language. We chose this name because it represents the nature of this website. Vestigatio allows you to search the web, as well as news and encyclopedia. It is the fastest tool to find what you are looking for. Besides search technology we have also developped a spider-generated directory, so if there is something that you are looking for and not sure what search terms to use, you could refer to this directory to get suggestions. There are other search engines, such as Google and Yahoo! Why make another one? Our development team has identified crucial flaws in current search engine technology. Majority of search engines provide users with brief excerpts from websites while listing search results. Many times such approach is misleading as it could be difficult to determine the relevancy of the website to whatever you are looking for. With Vestigatio Search we give users an option of expanding an excerpt and read the whole paragraph without having to go to that website. Such approach we believe will save time for everybody involved in searching. Freedoms of Expression At Vestigatio we believe in freedom. Everybody has a right to express their opinion, even if it is an unpopular one. In Vestigatio Forums and Blogs everybody is free to express anything and everything without having to fear of being banned. If, for example, a person chooses to express his or her opinion on racism and such opinion is not shared by the majority of internet users, it is still an opinion and has a full right to be expressed.
